We are Team Daedalus
Founded in 2021, Team Daedalus consists of diverse multidisciplinary university students. Based at the TU/e Innovation Space, a hub and center of expertise for challenge-based learning at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e).
Our vision: to create a solar-powered autonomous aircraft capable of prolonged aerial surveillance, to be used for wildfire detection.
Our prototypes
All prototypes are named Lapyx, we design them in iterative cycles: improvement is made on our previous design. This approach allows us to quickly create designs and manufacture new designs.
